Let’s face it: Greg Heffley will never change his wimpy ways. Somebody just needs to explain this to Greg’s father. You see, Frank Heffley actually thinks he can get his son to toughen up, and he enlists Greg in organized sports and other manly endeavours. Of course, Greg is easily able to sidestep his father’s efforts to change him. But when Greg’s dad threatens to send him to military academy, Greg realizes he has to shape up… or get shipped out.
In this third cartoon-style novel of the Wimpy Kid series, Greg is still getting himself into all kinds of situations. Accompany these with more of his laugh-out-loud drawings on every page and you have a great novel that makes you feel like you’re not reading a real book. The Wimpy Kid series has been highly recommended for those who are reluctant readers but is also thoroughly enjoyed by those that do enjoy reading.
